Corporate involvement and giving opportunities

A big part of our success is the partnerships that we build with businesses and other community organizations. These partnerships are instrumental to the success achieved by our program participants. In addition to funding program services, partners in the community offer opportunities for our participants to gain valuable workplace experience and in some cases, permanent employment.

Marsden Holding logoNothing illustrates better how a partnership can benefit your company and our community than the story on this page. For nearly a decade, Marsden Holding, L.L.C., a leader in commercial janitorial, building maintenance, security, HVAC mechanical maintenance and specialty property services, has partnered with Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota, providing in-kind donations in the form of facility janitorial services as well as significant program funding for 10 years. Marsden also employs many of our program participants.

Marsden and Goodwill-Easter Seals share many core values. One guiding principle of both organizations is respect for the individual. Marsden has a longstanding reputation for treating people with respect and appreciation – We, too, believe that every person, regardless of his or her background or barriers, is capable and deserves to participate in the world of work. Learn more about our shared values.

Partners, like Marsden, are extremely valuable to our participants. The participants would not enjoy the independence and other rewards of having their own job without the many businesses which support our services through corporate sponsorships and in-kind gifts.
