Advocacy Intern

The Advocacy Internship focuses on learning about helping Goodwill-Easter Seals shape public policy that affects individuals with barriers to employment and self-sufficiency. The Intern will assist with strategic organizing, monitoring legislation, and coordinating grassroots advocacy activities during the 2017 Minnesota Legislative Session (January - May). Intern must be Graduate or Undergraduate level student pursuing a degree in Political Science, Sociology, Social Work, Public Policy, or related field. 

Aftermarket Operations Intern

The Aftermarket Operations Internship consists of developing skills that ensure retail and operational initiatives are implemented and reinforced. The intern will help with maximizing sale growth through execution of processing procedures and development of processing team, maintaining product flow to the sales floor, achieving production goals, salvaging procedures, and ensuring merchandising standards are meet on a consistent basis. This internship is offered in two locations, and is available on an on-going basis.

Boutique Intern

Do you have a desire to learn about our retail operations? This internship will be focused on our retail efforts within our boutique stores.  It will consist of various projects such as exploring approprite social media avenues to promote awareness of the boutique and learning about a for-profit boutique in a non-profit organization, while researching service and operations of competitive stores.  This internship is available on an on-going basis.

Gina + Will Internship

The internship will consist of various projects such as exploring appropriate social media avenues to promote awareness of Gina + Will and learning about a for-profit retail store in a non-profit organization, while researching service and operations of competitive stores. This internship is available on an on-going basis.

IT Internship

This internship will focus on equipping a large non-profit maintenance of current hardware system inventories. This internship will consist of a variety of projects such as inventory deployment of systems, inventory system management, imaging systems, wiping systems and organization of systems. This internship is available on an on-going basis.

Voter Education and Engagement Internship

Interested in promoting voter awareness for the upcoming elections? The Voter Education & Engagement Intern will assist with nonpartisan voter outreach strategies and coordinating voter education activities leading up to the November 2016 general election. The primary focus of this internship is in the area of self-advocacy, and will involve supporting Goodwill-Easter Seals participants in knowing their voting rights and responsibilities. Specific duties may include crafting a voter engagement plan, attending community coalition meetings, creating issue updates, building a special event for National Voter Registration Day, and coordinating advocacy and outreach efforts.
