FATHER Project Facilitator graduates
Parent Group Facilitator (PGF) training is a 20-hour, intensive training experience. It prepares and certifies parenting group facilitators for the Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota FATHER Project.

FATHER Project reaches out to Hmong community
With a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services last year, the FATHER Project has branched out across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, and created partnerships with diverse community organizations.

Skills training programs

Christie at workGoodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota’s skills training programs offer training to prepare individuals for careers within a variety of industries. Participants earn a certificate upon meeting the graduation requirements of the course along with placement and support services to obtain employment and career advancement.

All Goodwill/Easter Seals training programs are available to those who meet eligibility requirements and complete required prerequisites.

Skills training programs

Automotive Skills Training

Prepare for positions in vehicle maintenance and repair with career advancement opportunities.

 

Banking and Finance Skills Training

Learn the skills needed to start a career in finance; teller associate, operations and related occupations.

 

Construction Skills Training

Learn the skills needed for carpenters, roofers, framers and other related careers in construction.

 

Customer Service Call Center Skills Training

Prepare for a career in customer service; call center representative, operations, and related positions.

 

Medical Office Skills Training

Learn the skills needed for a career in health care; patient representative, office assistant and related positions.

 

Retail Skills Training

Prepare and learn the skills needed for employment in the retail industry.

Retail Skills Training Eligibility is dependent upon location, availability and funding. To learn if you are eligible, please call an intake coordinator at 651-379-5800.

To learn more about the Auto, Banking and Finance, Customer Service Call Center, Medical Office and Construction training programs, you must attend a Skills Training Information Session. At the session, a staff member will assist you with eligibility and application requirements. If you need accommodations or assistance in order to participate in the information session, please all Carrie Owens-Sagvold at 651-379-5879.
