Transitional Employment Services

Transitional employment services provide paid training and assist people with economic, social or other barriers to employment in developing and expanding the skills and experience needed to find and maintain jobs and advance in their careers.

Each program is customized to the needs of the person. Participants work with staff to build work skills, set career goals and prepare for job search and future employment. When ready for employment, we provide job search and placement assistance and offer ongoing support services.

Participants may also take part in other services such as computer training, General Educational Development (also known as "GED") preparation and more.

Upgraded technology could have resulted
in unemployment for Larry, pictured here.
However, his employer called Goodwill/Easter
Seals. Our services made it possible for
Larry to learn new skills and remain employed
despite barriers.
