Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota's Skills Training Programs offer participants the opportunity to achieve independence and career goals. Participants develop the skills required for entry-level jobs in careers with the potential for career advancement. Graduates from some programs earn wages well above minimum wage and benefits, including health insurance.
How to apply
To apply for the Automotive, Bank, Financial Operations and Construction training programs you must attend a Skills Training Information Session. At the session, a staff member will assist you with eligibility and application requirements.
When: Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month

How to apply for Forklift or Retail Skills Training
Eligibility is dependent upon location, personal factors and funding. The quickest and simplest way to learn whether you qualify for services is to contact an intake coordinator. For contact information, visit our How to Apply page.
Forklift Skills Training This short certification program teachs participants to operate warehouse machinery.
Retail Skills Training Participants acquire soft skills while also working in a real-world environment.
All Goodwill/Easter Seals training programs are available to those who meet eligibility requirements and who complete required pre-requisites.
All of Goodwill/Easter Seals industry-specific skills training programs are developed and improved in partnership with local business and workforce development experts. They provide consulting to ensure that the program meets and exceeds standards for the industry. After implementation and testing, workforce development partners continue to provide expertise and consulting on a Business Advisory Council.
