Meet four participants who received gifts that helped change their lives
See how the donations you made helped Goodwill-Easter Seals offer them the support they needed
All gifts change lives. At Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota, we’re able to turn your donations into gifts that make an impact in the lives of our participants. We found four great stories that show how all gifts – large and small – helped make a difference in someone’s life..
1) Your gifts helped Danielle be ready for the first day of her new career
Danielle came to Goodwill-Easter Seals looking to gain the skills she needed to start a new career so she could take care of her family. Thanks to Medical Office training she learned the skills she needed and found a job she loves. Your gifts helped make sure she had the scrubs she needed for her first day on the job.
2) See how your gifts helped Rudy get the job
Rudy entered Goodwill-Easter Seals’ Bank & Finance Training to get the skills he needed to change careers. He dedicated himself to the training he needed, never missing a class. Goodwill-Easter Seals also helped him with the skills he needed to land a job – making sure his resume looked great and improving his interviewing skills. But a gift that allowed him to get some new clothes helped him make a great impression during his job interviews . . . and get the job.
3) Your donations helped Sabrina’s kids get beds to sleep in
Goodwill-Easter Seals’ programs helped Sabrina turn her life around after she went through a period of homelessness. Not only did she get the training and support she needed to find a job and succeed at it, your gifts helped make sure her kids finally got beds to sleep in.
4) Your gifts helped make sure Jason had the tools he needed to succeed at his new job.
After going through periods of incarceration, Jason came to Goodwill-Easter Seals looking to change his life. He received the support he needed and learned new skills in our Auto Technician training program to find a job he loves. Your donations helped make sure he had the tools he needed to succeed at his new job.
