Boyd Brown talks about testifying before Congress on welfare reform

Last Wednesday, July 15, Boyd Brown, Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota’s Area Director for Employment & Training, had the opportunity to testify before the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources. He was there to discuss the impact that welfare reform has on the people who receive assistance.

After returning from D.C. Boyd was kind enough to sit down with us for a few minutes and discuss the experience. Watch below as he talks about what it’s like to testify before Congress, why Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota was asked to attend, and the recommendations that were given to the Subcommittee.
