Attend MN-CCD’s Disability Policy Summit

Learn about critical disability issues in Minnesota – and meet your legislator!

The Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (MN-CCD) invites disability advocates and local legislators to attend a 2015 Disability Policy Summit. In the Twin Cities area, summits will be held in Stillwater and Plymouth. The outstate summit will be held in the Brainerd/Baxter area. Dates and locations are listed below.

Each summit will provide an opportunity to learn about Minnesota’s important disability issues, including:Medical Assistance (MA) Reform, The 5% Campaign and other policy initiatives designed to advance disability services in Minnesota.

Each summit will feature a town hall so that legislators can hear directly from their constituents.

Please RSVP to Jo Erbes at at least a week ahead of each event to help provide a lunch count. Walk-ins are also welcome.


10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Registration and Welcome

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Round-table Policy Discussion – for legislators, CCD Priorities & Training – grassroots advocates

11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Lunch with Legislators – Table Topic Discussions (Light lunch provided)

12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Town Hall Forum – tell your story to legislators
