Celebrate Father’s Eve 2016! Have some fun and raise money to support Minnesota dads

Help make the night before Father’s Day a national event. Join with other fathers to build connections, raise awareness and give each other support.

Hurry, tickets go fast!

Celebrate with the things dads love: great food, friends, games, music – and a little Hammerschlagen, of course! The celebration starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 and ends at 11.

Father’s Eve was started to bring dads of all ages together to have a good time and share ideas and advice about being a father. Groups around the country are planning celebrations to make an event out of connecting and supporting the community of dads.

The first official Father’s Eve event in Minnesota was held in 2015 and brought hundreds of people together at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill in St. Paul. This year’s event is sure to be even bigger.

Did we mention that tickets go fast? Here’s why: each ticket gets you a meal, beverage and a raffle ticket to win prizes. You also get to do some beer, wine and liquor tasting and watch live cigar rolling. Plus, you can take part in bean bag and Hammerschlagen competitions and get $50 worth of swag, including a t-shirt.

All money raised goes to support Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota’s FATHER Project and the National At-Home Dad Network.

So come to O’Gara’s on June 18 and celebrate fatherhood. Click here to buy your ticket. And remember: they go fast!
