Winona, here we come!

What does the city with three colleges, Sugar Loaf, the Mississippi, a Shakespeare Festival, Fastenal, and Steamboat Days deserve?

A new Goodwill store!

Mark your calendars: Saturday, April 30, we throw open the doors of our newest location in Winona. The festivities begin at 8:45 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting and a few words from Mayor Mark Peterson. We’ll also have refreshments, scratch-off cards with savings up to 40% and a chance to win Goodwill gift cards.

Our new Winona store, almost ready to open!

The staff of 44 (mostly from Winona) have been working diligently to set up the store and prepare for the grand opening. And, they had their work cut out for them. The location features over 10,000 square feet of sales floor space. You can expect to find something for everyone: clothing for the whole family organized by size, household items, decor, books, furniture, toys and even a few staples like cleaning supplies and snacks. Plus, with weekly sales, there are bargains to be found everyday.

But it’s not just a new place to shop. You now have a convenient place to donate your gently used items and support Goodwill’s mission. Every Goodwill store features a drive-through donation center, attended by friendly and helpful staff. If you can buy it on the sales floor, we can accept it as a donation!

We’re excited to join the Winona community and share our mission to eliminate barriers to work and independence for people in your community. Together, we prepare people for work.
