Remember Dawn? Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota (GESMN) participants like her not only change their lives in our programs; they also reinvigorate their communities by building and restoring affordable housing.

This is made possible through partnerships with organizations including NeighborWorks Home Partners, who acquire properties like the 1884 duplex pictured above and allow GESMN to use the property for on-site construction training.

So, the next time you are donating or shopping at Goodwill, remember that you are helping to rebuild lives and communities — one training cohort and one home at a time.
