Meet Brent Meulebroeck, the face of Chaska Goodwill

We kicked off December by opening our newest Goodwill store in Chaska. If you visited the store for the grand opening festivities or in the days since, you may have spotted this guy:

Meet Brent: the general manager of our new Chaska Goodwill

That’s Brent Meulebroeck, the general manager. Brent’s been with Goodwill for over two years – he started as a manager at our Bloomington store, then moved to the Hopkins store. He’s excited to be heading up the operation at Chaska.

“This is my first time in one of our new, high-efficiency buildings,” he explains. (Goodwill has 28 Energy Star Certified stores in Minnesota, and we’re seeking the same designation for Chaska.) “It’s nice and new and bright – a lot of windows – and the store fits in perfectly with the surrounding community.”

Before joining the team at Goodwill, Brent worked for Target for 10 years, spending five of those at their Chaska store. He knows the area well and notes that he enjoys Chaska’s many trails and amenities, but his favorite part of Chaska is the people. “I like the community here. I’ve been seeing a lot of familiar faces,” he says.

When asked what he likes most about working at Goodwill, Brent answers, “The diversity of our teams. Goodwill definitely has teams that represent the communities we operate in. I saw this in Bloomington and Hopkins, and the same thing applies in Chaska. I like watching each group come together, form a cohesive team and build connections with the community.”

When he’s not at the store, Brent spends his time working in his yard, running and biking. When you meet him, you should ask about Frodo and Hedwig, his two rescue dogs.

Chaska Goodwill is located at 310 Pioneer Trail (off Hundertmark Road, next to the Home Depot). When you shop and donate to Goodwill, you help us eliminate barriers to work and independence for people in your community.
