This week the temps are expected to rise to a balmy 40+ degrees. This triggers (even for the most die-hard-winter-lovers) an urge to expose our elbows and knees, pack away our winter grays and incorporate more color and pattern into our wardrobe.

Second Début is ahead of the pack. This past weekend they debuted their curated collection of designer treasures during their Spring Fashion Weekend. Fear not fashionistas! There are still plenty of accessories and warm weather clothing to be found if you missed the preview event.

And being Minnesotans, pragmatic to the bone, the quickest way to satisfy your spring craving is with a pair of fun flats, a bright handbag or a bold scarf. While 40 degrees is temperate in our world, it’s still February in the northland.

You can never go wrong with earth tones. Easy to layer and match across any season.

I love the subtle embellishment on the daisy print purse. Still quaint, with a little sophistication.

The animal print scarf in a delicate lavender color takes the pattern from night to day.

Green! Even a little can go a long way to brighten an ensemble …

Did I mention the array of jewelry? Silver and natural stones are earthy and elegant.

These cream-colored accessories are ready for sunlight! Not to be confused with winter white …

Here are three fun, colorful outfits that are ready for spring!

Three unique ways to do monochromatic with spring chic.

Ready or not, spring is coming and now is a great time to visit Second Début to find your warm weather look.
