Today we’re going to be talking about one of the hottest trends of the season. I just adore the look of an all-white outfit. It’s clean, classy and eye-catching. Any time you go monochromatic, the focus moves from colors and prints to textures. It’s all about mixing the right fabrics. This is something you can play with. Silk pants with an oversized cable-knit sweater? Go for it! Crisp jacket with a beaded Gatsby dress? Absolutely!
Another thing to keep in mind is that generally, the color is not stark wedding dress white, but an off-white or ivory. And, it’s okay to incorporate slightly non-matching hues. It’ll look amazing.
Not sure where to start? As you can see in the photo above, I’ve done a little pre-shopping at Second Début and Goodwill for you! The cream scarf has a ski chic vibe to it. I love the oversized cable-knit texture. It makes a beautiful contrast with the buttery smooth ivory skirt. Add that to the leather white purse, and you’re well on your way to mastering this trend.
