Career Insights: Prioritizing Quality Jobs

We’ve all heard the phrase "quality jobs" but what do experts in the field consider when evaluating the quality of a position? According to Results for America, “Nationwide, more than 54 million Americans are working in low-wage jobs and roughly six in 10 workers report being in ‘mediocre’ or ‘bad’ jobs.” Recent federal initiatives, emphasize the need for reform. There is a growing movement to rethink what makes a good job and prioritize efforts to promote high-quality employment. This will have an impact on employers, the workforce and the American labor force for years to come.
