Enrollment & Account Setup

A. Use your mobile phone to text JOINGOODWILLMN to 757575 before bringing your items to the register to checkout. Goodwill store associates cannot complete the VIP opt-in process for customers at the register.

A. All previous Goodwill VIPs need to re-enroll to access new features and register with our system to start earning points on purchases. 

Program Details & Benefits

A. One dollar equals one rewards point.  Once you earn 33 points, you will receive $3 off your purchase. Points can only be redeemed in $3 increments (e.g., 33 points = $3, 66 points = $6). Partial redemptions like 44 points for $4 aren’t available.

A. No – you earn them, you keep them! Best of all, purchases at your neighborhood Goodwill support our job training programs and people in our community. For example, $100 can cover transportation for a program participant to attend job training and $150 can provide work boots for someone starting a new job after they graduate from our construction training.

A. If a VIP member returns or exchanges purchased items, the points earned by those items will be deducted from the member's point total. Please see full terms and conditions for details.

Using Rewards

A. Goodwill VIP rewards are valid only at participating Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota retail locations. Points cannot be redeemed at Goodwill Outlets, Wholesale or shopgoodwill.com.

A. When you checkout, tell the cashier you are a Goodwill VIP and provide your cell phone number to earn points on your purchase, redeem a promotion and/or activate your rewards.

A. Rewards earned in a transaction are applied to a future transaction. Rewards cannot be applied towards sales tax or given as cash back.

A. First, try re-opting in by texting JOINGOODWILLMN to 757575. You will receive a verification text to confirm your phone number. Second, for Android users, if there’s an exclamation point error next to your text message, this is a mobile plan/phone setting issue and you’ll need contact your cell phone carrier. Third, make sure you have good network connection and that your cell phone isn’t on “roaming” mode. If these troubleshooting tips don’t resolve the issue, please contact your cell phone carrier for further assistance.

A. Please allow approximately 72 hours for points to be credited to your account after a purchase or interaction. 

A. Every Goodwill VIP has access to a personal webpage to check points balance, see rewards summaries and update your personal information and preferences. Click here to see your account.

A. GESMN will never sell, trade or share information with any other organization. Goodwill VIPs may access support at Feedback-noreply@gesmn.org or asking a store associate.

  • Double check your spam, junk, other, or promotions email folders.
  • Confirm your email address is correct. To do this, log in to your account by entering your mobile number, click ‘Manage Profile’ and review your email address. If your email address is incorrect, please follow the steps in the ‘How do I change my email?’  FAQ below.

I’m not receiving texts.  

If you are not receiving your single-use sign-in code:
