EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Employment services for Hennepin and Ramsey County residents in the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) include job placement services, resume and interview preparation, job search support, addressing basic needs, and assistance accessing education and training programs.

  • Ramsey County’s “Families Achieving Success Today” (FAST) program supports whole-family success using a collaborative team approach. Services are rooted in hospitality, dignity, and respect. They include Individual Placement and Support (IPS), mental health case management, health navigation and cultural consultation.
  • Hennepin County’s “Moving Forward” program offers specialized coaching and employment services to MFIP parents who have been involved in the criminal justice system.
  • Hennepin County’s “Stable Families Initiative” supports the employment goals of MFIP recipients who have faced housing insecurity or resided in a homeless shelter multiple times in the past two years.
