Job Placement, Retention and Career Advancement
Through our Job Placement, Retention and Career Advancement services, we assist people in finding and maintaining employment and advancing in their careers.
Job Placement
Job placement services assist people in finding employment at a sustainable wage. Services in programs listed below may include a combination of the following:
- Skills Assessment and counseling to examine options and explore careers to determine a career path
- Develop a job search plan based on the individual's skills and circumstances

Resource coordination to identify needs and available community resources -
Job search preparation from developing resumes to developing answers to interview questions -
Job search assistance and support -
Employment Readiness Training is is a 16-hour course designed to train and prepare people to navigate their job search. -
Some of the programs may also include training and support services.
Job Retention and Career Advancement

Job coaching is a time-limited training and support process in which a job coach assists the individual and his or her employer in assessing job needs and provides assistance and resources as needed. As the individual gains job independence, less coaching is required. -
Supported employment and follow-up services provide long-term support services for the individual to assist him or her in maintaining employment and advancing in his or her career. Contact may continue with the employer, as well, for resources and assistance in addressing work needs.
